Check your notifications inbox
The bell at the top opens an in-app list of everything that tried to get your attention — so a swiped-away banner is never gone for good.
Push notifications are ephemeral — swipe one away at school pickup and it’s gone. The notifications inbox is the durable version: an in-app list of everything that’s tried to get your attention, waiting until you deal with it.
Open it
Tap the bell at the top of the app — it carries a dot when something’s unread. The list shows what happened and when; tap any row and you land in the right place (the announcement, the conversation, the mention). Mark all read clears the lot when you’ve caught up the old-fashioned way.
When there’s nothing waiting, it says so: “You’re all caught up.”
Why it’s worth knowing about
- It doesn’t depend on push. Quiet hours, a muted phone, a device you haven’t set up, a week of ignoring your phone — the inbox has everything regardless. It’s the safety net under every notification setting.
- It’s per school. If your family belongs to more than one school, each school’s bell shows that school’s notifications.
