Switch between schools
If your family belongs to more than one school on Lumicura, use one account and switch between them — here's how, and what stays separate.
If you have children at two schools that both use Lumicura, you don’t need two accounts. One sign-in covers both, and you switch between schools inside the app.
Switch schools
- Open the app menu and look for the school switcher — your current school’s name near the top.
- Tap it and choose the other school.
- The app switches over — colors, channels, and content all change to that school.
The app remembers your last school, so next time you open it you’ll be where you left off.
What stays separate
Each school is its own world. When you switch, you’re looking at that school’s data and nothing else:
- Service hours and commitment — each school has its own tally for your family. Hours earned at one school never count at the other.
- Channels and messages — you only see the channels for the school you’re currently viewing.
- Announcements, calendar, documents — all per-school.
- Your role — you might be a committee chair at one school and simply a parent at the other.
What’s shared
Just your sign-in — one email, one set of credentials, one profile identity. You’ll never juggle two passwords.
If a school is missing from your switcher
The switcher only lists schools whose roster includes your family. If you’ve just enrolled at a second school and don’t see it, that school’s roster probably doesn’t have you yet.
