Set up your email digest

One summary email instead of a message per item — daily or weekly on the day you pick, with an unsubscribe that doesn't touch anything else.

If push notifications aren’t your style, the digest is: one email that rounds up what happened — announcements, activity in channels you’ve set to digest, and your family’s own sign-up commitments — instead of a ping per item.

Choose your cadence

  1. Open Notification settings from your account menu.
  2. Under Email digest, pick Daily, Weekly, or Off.
  3. Weekly? Pick which morning it arrives — Sunday through Saturday, your call.

Daily sends a single morning email summarizing the previous day; weekly sends one each week summarizing the week. Off stops digest emails entirely — push notifications are unaffected.

What’s inside

The email wears your school’s name and colors, and its links drop you straight into the right place in the app. What it covers:

  • Announcements you haven’t caught up on.
  • Messages — only from channels you’ve put on digest mode.
  • Sign-ups — your own commitments and deadlines: “you’re bringing napkins Friday,” “this sheet closes tomorrow.”

Your school chooses which of those sections its digest includes by default, and whether families start on daily, weekly, or off — your own setting, once you’ve made one, always wins.

Unsubscribing from email

Every digest ends with a one-click stop link, and your email app may offer its own unsubscribe button — both work, and both stop only the digest. Push notifications, urgent texts, and everything in the app are untouched. Turning the digest back on later is the same cadence picker above.

If your family belongs to more than one school, each school sends its own digest — each with that school’s branding, each controlled from that school’s settings.
