Subscribe to the calendar

Add the school calendar to the calendar app you already use — iPhone, Google Calendar, or Outlook — and it stays up to date by itself.

Subscribing puts school events into your own calendar app, alongside everything else in your life — and it stays current on its own. Subscribe once; when the school adds or changes an event, your calendar updates automatically.

  1. Open Calendar in Lumicura.
  2. Look for Subscribe (or the calendar-export option) and copy the subscription link. It’s a standard calendar feed (an “ICS” link) that any calendar app understands.

Then add it to whichever calendar you live in:

iPhone / Apple Calendar

  1. Open SettingsCalendarAccountsAdd AccountOther.
  2. Tap Add Subscribed Calendar.
  3. Paste the link and tap Next, then Save.

Google Calendar

  1. Open calendar.google.com on a computer.
  2. In the left sidebar, click + next to “Other calendars” → From URL.
  3. Paste the link and click Add calendar. (It then appears on your phone’s Google Calendar too.)

Outlook

  1. In Outlook’s calendar view, choose Add calendarSubscribe from web.
  2. Paste the link, name it, and confirm.

Good to know

  • Read-only. The feed flows one way — events flow into your calendar, and nothing you do in your own calendar changes anything at school. For full event details, use the app: see Browse the school calendar.
  • Updates aren’t instant. Calendar apps refresh subscribed feeds on their own schedule — typically within a few hours, up to a day for some. For just-announced changes, the app is the source of truth.
  • Unsubscribing is done in your calendar app (remove the subscribed calendar), not in Lumicura.
