Subscribe to the calendar
Add the school calendar to the calendar app you already use — iPhone, Google Calendar, or Outlook — and it stays up to date by itself.
Subscribing puts school events into your own calendar app, alongside everything else in your life — and it stays current on its own. Subscribe once; when the school adds or changes an event, your calendar updates automatically.
Get your subscription link
- Open Calendar in Lumicura.
- Look for Subscribe (or the calendar-export option) and copy the subscription link. It’s a standard calendar feed (an “ICS” link) that any calendar app understands.
Then add it to whichever calendar you live in:
iPhone / Apple Calendar
- Open Settings → Calendar → Accounts → Add Account → Other.
- Tap Add Subscribed Calendar.
- Paste the link and tap Next, then Save.
Google Calendar
- Open calendar.google.com on a computer.
- In the left sidebar, click + next to “Other calendars” → From URL.
- Paste the link and click Add calendar. (It then appears on your phone’s Google Calendar too.)
Outlook
- In Outlook’s calendar view, choose Add calendar → Subscribe from web.
- Paste the link, name it, and confirm.
Good to know
- Read-only. The feed flows one way — events flow into your calendar, and nothing you do in your own calendar changes anything at school. For full event details, use the app: see Browse the school calendar.
- Updates aren’t instant. Calendar apps refresh subscribed feeds on their own schedule — typically within a few hours, up to a day for some. For just-announced changes, the app is the source of truth.
- Unsubscribing is done in your calendar app (remove the subscribed calendar), not in Lumicura.
