Browse the school calendar
The school community calendar — seeing what's coming up, reading event details, and how events relate to volunteer shifts.
The calendar is the community’s what’s-coming-up: parent-org events, meetings, spirit nights, volunteer days — everything in one view instead of scattered across newsletters.
Browse the calendar
- Open Calendar from the main menu.
- Scroll through what’s ahead — flip between the month view and the agenda list, whichever suits you.
- Tap any event for details — time, place, and the description.
Recurring events (the monthly board meeting, weekly practices) show every upcoming occurrence, so you never have to remember the pattern.
Attending an event vs. working it
Worth keeping straight:
- Attending — most calendar events are simply “show up”: no sign-up needed, nothing to claim.
- Working a shift — volunteer shifts are separate, live in Volunteering, have limited spots, and earn service-hour credit.
Big events often involve both — the fall festival is on the calendar for everyone to attend, and its setup and concession shifts are in Volunteering for the families working it. See Find and sign up for a shift.
Put it on your own calendar
You don’t have to open the app to know what’s coming — subscribe once and school events appear in the calendar your phone already uses, and stay current on their own. See Subscribe to the calendar.
